Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: A genius with sloping flair
Mozart grew up with music, climbed into unexpected heights with her and died early. He was musically ahead of his time and uncompromisingly pulled his way through.
Genius. Child prodigy. Pop star of his time. No superlative seems too great to describe Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. As early as the three -year -old, he took the violin away from his sister because he wanted to play himself. The father promoted him as much as possible, planning a normal career, but the lively boy developed his own head. He wanted to get out of the musty province, out into the world. What was his great performance?
The artistic superhuman, to which he was shown for a long time, was actually called Johannes Chrysostomus Wolfgangus Theophilus Mozart. Theophilus initially became Gottlieb. It wasn't until 1770 that he called himself Amadé - because it sounded better. The man was less than 36 years old and created an almost unmanageable number of works in the 30 years in which he composed. He was also married to Constanze Weber, who got six children from him. Two sons of them reached adulthood.
Not a particularly beautiful person from Salzburg
Big nose, pock touts. About 1.50 meters tall. Mozart, who always went out of the house with a wig, as it belonged, including the hair brown and medium -length, was not particularly attractive. But he was humorous, engaging, had wit and esprit. The aura of a superstar. And he knew how to celebrate. "Sometimes his life reminds me of Michael Jackson," says Elisabeth Albrecht, head of the music placement in the Haus der Musik. There are parallels. Both were weird, exalted and extrovert. They had no childhood. And they both couldn't handle money. "
Born on January 27, 1756 in Salzburg, Mozart's life consists of music, music and music again from the first moment. The child has talent, and how. At the age of five, he composed his first piece. Father Leopold Mozart, himself a composer, teaches the son and sister Nannerl, who is just as talented, but is less encouraged. Mozart becomes a European attraction. Together with his sister, he appears in all well -known cities - in front of bishops and rulers, himself in front of the Pope. People are amazed at the little virtuoso. His piano game is breathtaking. At the age of 17 he went to Italy, where he develops his skills and deepens into the composition of operas and other forms of music. A job as a concert master and composer for the Archbishop of Salzburg Colloredo will soon become boring - he wants to do something new. Compose without barriers.
Innovative uncompromising
"With his high artistic claim, Mozart was not the type for a normal job that was used at the time as an artist to be financially secure," explains Albrecht. "He was incredibly innovative and went to work with absolute uncompromising." He always had to come to terms with the wishes of his paying clients - like the other great composers of Vienna Classic. A daily area of tension. However, he manages to make ends meet as a freelance artist.
After the move to Vienna in 1781, a productive phase begins in which he composed numerous masterpieces, including operas such as "The wedding of the Figaro", "Don Giovanni", symphonic works, chamber music and piano concerts. In doing so, he usually has the melodies finished in the head and only has to note his creations; Corrections are almost none in his grades.
A masterpiece - the sorcerer
Like the actors: interact with each other in his operas, the person leadership, is legendary. And he knew how no other to compose his pieces for the voices that could be heard in it. The most famous opera of Mozart is "the magic flute". A voice spectacle.
Sarastro goes to the deepest limits of a bass voice. The queen of the night trees the high F. Mozart merged the genres of his time, sprinkled hits and songs. He moved in with a thematic level that took on allusions to the Freemasons of liberal tendencies of the time. For example, Tamino finds three temples in Sarastro's Reich, at the gates of which "wisdom", "reason" and "nature" is written - important cornerstones of the Freemasons. Mozart himself was a member of a Freemason lodge, through which he also received orders.
Pre.
Only for wind instruments did the genius, which feared as a child to trumpets, had no special preference. If he composed something for these instruments, it was mostly occasional or order pieces. Mozart's oboo concert and its flute concerts are among the most popular works.
Mozart was a fun -loving person who could also be frustrated. Sometimes completely overwhelmed, then depressed again. His preference for expressions became known, which was relatively normal in time. A rough rhyme can even be found in a short choir. The canon bona nox! ends with the wish: "Good night, good night, shit in bed, that 'Kracht - good night, sleep fier g'sund and take the ass on the mouth."
Death before his world success
In his 35 years of life, Mozart went on 17 trips: a total of more than 10 years, a third of his life. All trips were planned and organized by his father Leopold. A travel piano was always there.
In the last few years before his death, Mozart increasingly turned church music . The Requiem in D minor ( KV 626) from 1791 is its last composition . He died in Vienna during work on December 5, 1791. He was no longer able to see the fact that his "sorcerer", which was premiered in September in September. After the adoption in St. Stephen's Cathedral, he was buried in an unexploded general grave at the St. Marx cemetery - as it corresponded to the reforms of the time.
Mozart revolutionized classical music through its extraordinary skills, melody, harmony and structure in his works. He is still admired for his virtuosity and creativity today. His life was not as easy and full of harmony as his music.
